Twitter Released New Instant Follow Button

Twitter came out with a new follow button that will let people to follow you in two clicks. You can see it in action right here on the sidebar. You can customize the button to match your site’s look and language.

The most important change is that now your visitors don’t have to leave to Twitter if they want to start following you. Clicking the new Twitter follow button will open a small window where you see the details of the person you are starting to follow. Clicking the follow button will then follow the user and close the pop-up window. If you are already following that person then you have the option to on follow.

If you are not logged in to Twitter when you press the new follow button then you have the option to “log in and follow” the pop-up window.
