Dreamgrow is reader-supported. When buying products through links on the site, we may earn a commission (at no extra cost to you).

Wake Up Warrior founder, and human Energizer Bunny, Garrett J White, has a pretty high opinion of ClickFunnels. When discussing his company’s journey through various online sales platforms, he referred to their adoption of ClickFunnels as a “quantum move in improvement.”

ClickFunnels

He also feels that ClickFunnels had the same impact on the online sales industry that Apple had on the tech world when they launched the iPhone.

Possible hyperbole aside, ClickFunnels is pretty awesome. It’s hard to argue with their results and the mass of high-profile endorsements. I've got my full review on it here.

They know how to sell themselves, and, more importantly, they know how to enable YOU to sell YOUR product.

The concept of a sales funnel isn’t new; ClickFunnels didn’t invent it. But they did come close to perfecting a platform that allows non-technical entrepreneurs to set up HIGHLY effective online sales presences within hours of signing up.

Their website famously features a video in which 10X Rule author, Grant Cardone, sets up his funnel during a 2-hour flight from Miami to Chicago. Grant, while being an exceptional salesperson, is a self-proclaimed technophobe and claims that it’s the “easiest thing I’ve ever done.”

Admittedly, the multimillionaire had some high-profile help in the form of ClickFunnels founder, Russell Brunson, but you get the idea. It’s incredibly accessible, and it works. At the time of writing this piece, ClickFunnels had a client-base of over 150k and had processed close to $10b of transactions.

They’re doing SOMETHING right.

In fact, it’s fair to say they’re doing many, many things right. You don’t generate $60m in ARR if you’re not pushing a LOT of the right buttons.

Importantly, though, it’s worth noting that ClickFunnels isn’t the only player in this space. While many would consider them the undisputed leader in simple sales funnel and landing page enablement, there are several alternatives offering a wide variety of features, price points, and other differentiating aspects.

So, you’ve been convinced by someone or something that you need to put your time and energy into setting up an online sales funnel. Great. Even though I have no idea who you are, the fact that you’re reading this article means that this is likely to be excellent advice.

But you want to be sure whether the industry leader is the best option for YOU. You’re diligent, and I like that. It’s what smart people do. And guess what? I’ve got your back. In this article, I’m going to take a highly critical look at ClickFunnels’ competitors. I’m going to evaluate them on as many factors as possible and, ultimately, let you make the decision on which option is best for you based on your business’ unique needs.

The Difference Between a Sales Funnel Builder and a Website Builder

Let’s start by answering the question: “What’s the difference between a website and a web funnel?” A website is, essentially, a digital brochure for your company. While it’s not entirely static and can play an extremely important role in your sales funnel, that’s not it’s entire purpose.

It’s easy for a visitor to get lost among the various content elements that a website typically contains, making it a somewhat less-than-ideal platform to pitch a hard-sell at the visitor. Websites need finesse and subtlety, and it needs to speak the language of your brand. Very often, this language is at odds with focusing HARD on a call to action.

Website builders like Wix, WordPress, and Squarespace offer a massive variety of features that you can use to construct a web presence that exists to do more than just focus on a sales pitch. Think about any great website and the legion of important, helpful elements it offers its visitors. Are all of these overtly geared towards urging the visitor into the sales funnel?

Of course not.

That’s where online sales funnel builders come in. Some web presences don’t need finesse. Sometimes, what a specific brand or product needs is a presence that exists solely to guide the visitor towards either making a purchase or capturing their contact details so that they can be sold to using other channels. If you’ll forgive a slight oversimplification, the “sites” created by these tools are typically referred to as “landing pages” or “sales funnels”.

Online sales funnel builders offer a feature-set that is geared towards allowing the user to build these landing pages. Pages that hook the visitor with an instant, sales-focused value proposition and urges them towards conversion. This type of landing page builder typically offers a much narrower spectrum of features and, as a result, are much easier to use.

TL;DR: Website builders create sites that exist for a variety of reasons that aren’t all focused on selling. Online sales funnel builders let the user build landing pages that are laser-focused on lead generation and conversion.

1. InstaPage – Our Pick for the Best ClickFunnels Alternative

Of all the WYSIWYG web page editors I’ve used in my time pretending to know how to design web pages, InstaPage is comfortably one of the best. Of course, there’s a LOT more to a landing page tool than the front-end editor, but I have to lead with this point. Using InstaPage to build kickass landing pages is not only easy; it’s a pleasure!

Instapage

If you have a creative bent, working in InstaPage will feel like you’re in Disneyland. Or whatever your personal equivalent of a happy place is. Five thousand fonts are at your disposal, as are 33 million images!

If you’re not that keen to get your hands dirty with the actual design of your landing pages, don’t worry, InstaPage has you covered with over 200 ready-to-use templates. All you need to do is make some cosmetic adjustments and do the necessary configurations.

Let’s move on to the non-design functionality InstaPage offers because this is an area where they shine just as brightly. Functionality embedded into your pages via web forms and integrations are stable and extremely effective. Allow your visitors to capture their details in many different ways – including multi-step forms that break down a complex interaction into simple steps.

When it comes to lead management, InstaPage has no shortage of useful features either. Your standard notifications are a given, but how about integrating it directly with your CRM? Yup, you can do that.

InstaPage also partnered with lead-generation superstars OptinMonster for industry-leading exit-intent popups to boost your conversion rates even further.

One of the main reasons I rate InstaPage as highly as I do is their suite of optimization features. Clearly, this is a tool that understands the value of gathering user-interaction data to create as effective a platform for conversion as possible.

A/B testing of Instapage

A/B testing is an absolute breeze, while advanced data like heatmaps provide exceptionally granular levels of information on how your visitors interact with your landing pages. See where your leaks are and plug them instantly!

InstaPage is a remarkable tool, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. Sign up for a 14-day trial now.

Price Points

InstaPage only offers two pricing options, differentiated on feature-access. The Business tier will currently cost you $149 pm (billed annually) or $199 (billed monthly). It offers all the functionality you’ll need to build beautiful, highly-effective landing pages.

The Enterprise tier is custom-priced and offers a large selection of advanced features like audit logs, AMP pages, access to dedicated support (launch) specialist, and a guaranteed uptime SLA. This subscription option also offers advanced A/B testing analytics like the cost of conversion per page variant.

2. Unbounce – Our Runner-Up Best Clickfunnels Alternative

Unbounce isn’t just one of my all-time favorite company names – it’s a terrific landing page and sales funnel builder that thoroughly deserves the credit it’s getting from marketing professionals.

Their marketing material speaks confidently about the difference between traditional websites and conversion-focused landing pages. It’s clear from the outset this Unbounce is here to help you build something aimed at getting you results with minimum effort.

Their builder’s UX isn’t quite at the incredible standard set by InstaPage, but it’s still damn close to the top of what these products offer. Select UI elements from a library of controls and functions. Create your landing pages with typical drag and drop functionality—world-class WYSIWYG functionality – exactly what you’d expect from a quality product like this.

Drag and Drop Builder of Unbounce

Expect to find all the usual UI elements that comprise conversion-focused landing pages. Visual elements abound, alongside other critical controls like lead-generation forms, two-step opt-in forms with lightboxes, and content gates.

Unbounce only offers half the number of templates (100) that InstaPage has in their inventory. On the surface, this may seem like a bit of a letdown, but trust me when I say that the prebuilt site frameworks are of exceptional quality, and you are certain to find one that suits your needs. Each template looks great and has a clear objective – getting you the highest conversion rate possible.

To aid in customization, Unbounce doesn’t limit page creation to basic drag and drop building. If you have some coding expertise, get into the nitty-gritty of your landing pages’ look and behavior by inserting custom CSS and JavaScript.

Unbounce’s landing page builder also scores some extra points by offering some smart little value-added UX functions. For example, page-cloning and element copy/pasting aren’t functions you’d necessarily expect in a tool like this but surprise you with their usefulness. All of this adds up to making Unbounce’s page building experience that much simpler.

Unbounce also enables you to cater to mobile users. In fact, this is something they take very seriously. Easily create Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP) that load up to 85% faster than traditional mobile sites. The speed at which a page loads has a proven impact on conversion, so this isn’t just a nice-to-have feature; it’s critical to boosting your ROI.

When it comes to responsiveness, expect the usual feature combo of easily switching between your page’s desktop and mobile “views” and creating a custom look for each of these page instances. In fact, their Mobile Layout Assistant will do most of this work for you.

From a campaign optimization point of view, Unbounce doesn’t leave you hanging. It may lack the awesome heatmap that InstaPage offers, but there’s no shortage of other great features here. Their new, AI-powered SmartTraffic function matches visitors to the pages most likely to convert them. Standard A/B testing is also here, as can be expected, as is a top-notch real-time performance dashboard.

Unbounce's Smart Traffic

Unbounce offers a 14-day trial period so give it a shot!

Price Points

You’ve got four options here, each differentiated by consumption metrics rather than feature access. Each tier (priced at $80, $120, $200, and $300) offers a cap on the number of conversions, visitors, and domains. There’s also a 10% discount on these prices if you opt for an annual payment.

3. LeadPages – Third-Placed ClickFunnels Alternative

Our bronze medal goes to LeadPages, a funnel builder that feels like it caters to users new to this world but offers more than enough value for experienced funnel builders.

From a builder perspective, you’re getting all the basics we’ve now come to expect from the top products on the market. Standard drag and drop building and a wide selection of UI elements that not only make your site look great but also enable quick, easy conversion. Images, forms, various types of popups, and alert-bars – LeadPages offer them all.

Landing page templates are in no short supply either – there are 150 to choose from when you sign up for any of the subscription plans. A neat, but not entirely necessary, benefit that LeadPages offers here is access to a huge number of traditional website templates. Yeah, I know we’re reviewing landing page and funnel builders here, but it’s really worth mentioning that LeadPages doubles up as a website design tool.

LeadPages

What I love about LeadPages’ template-selection menu is a sorting option labeled: “highest converting.” How thoughtful is that? Obviously, the company keeps tabs on template performance and is able to let a customer make a decision based on cold, hard data, rather than just something that “looks pretty” or “seems like it’ll do the job.”

Some users have pointed out that page building and template UI customization isn’t LeadPages’ strongest suit, and that’s a fair comment. Their priority is clearly simplicity over flexibility. Despite this, I still felt (along with a sizable number of other users) that LeadPages is still one of the leaders in this space.

If you’re looking to create a highly customized UI, you may want to consider another product. If you’re more interested in keeping things simple by selecting a great template and doing some minor customization, LeadPages is one of the best products on the market.

From an optimization perspective, LeadPages offers something truly unique and helpful – real-time guidance and performance prediction before the page is even published. This is a truly unique feature that I found exceptionally helpful. Users who are new to funnels, landing pages, and the concept of conversion optimization will find this exceptionally useful.

Integration is another area where LeadPages shines. Users can implement the functionality of a large number of third-party tools into their LeadPages presences. Advanced analytics, CRM, e-commerce, webinars, and live chat are just a few of the integration categories on offer.

LeadPages Integration

Price Points

LeadPages has three price tiers – differentiated on a combination of feature access and resource consumption. At the time of writing this article, prices were $37, $79, and $321 per month. Signing up for an annual payment plan SIGNIFICANTLY reduces the cost of a subscription by over 33%.

The most affordable option allows the user to set up only one site, while the next two options offer three and 50 domains. Other differentiators include the amount of A/B tests the user can run, the number of advanced third-party integrations, and access to a launch specialist to help you get started.

We've also got a detailed Leadpages review as well as a list of some of the best alternatives to it.

4. GetResponse

Unlike many of the Clickfunnels alternatives in this article, GetResponse is a landing page builder, email marketing, and automation hybrid tool. More than most of the options we’re reviewing here, GetResponse casts its net pretty wide over the digital marketing landscape, and it does so with extreme effectiveness.

GetResponse

That’s not to say that GetResponse lacks the necessary sophistication as a landing page and sales funnel builder. Not at all. Expect the fundamentals of drag and drop construction, element configuration, template editing, and more.

However, where GetResponse excels is the ease with which these landing pages are integrated into email campaigns and other marketing and sales automation functions.

Harvesting email addresses has long been one of the primary conversion goals of a landing page. It’s typically quite near the top of the sales funnel since it enables the seller to be in constant contact with the lead, continually nurturing and upselling them. That’s why the marriage of landing page builder and email marketing enablement makes for such a terrific product.

Other aspects of sales and marketing automation GetResponse allows you to set up includes abandoned cart recovery, which immediately made me sit up and say, “Why, hello there!” This feature is extremely useful since the recovery of abandoned carts can see a tremendous impact on a company’s bottom-line.

GetResponse is a fantastic combination of features that span a very broad spectrum of the digital marketing world. They also offer a very generous 30-day free trial. Sign up for it now.

Price Points

Four subscription options await you on GetResponse’s pricing page. Each of them is configurable, with the price being slightly adjusted based on the size of your email subscriber list.

The main differentiator between each pricing tier is access to advanced features and other consumption metrics, like the number of webinar attendees.

Base prices for each tier are $15, $49, and $99 per month. Choosing an annual payment plan gives you an 18% saving in subscription fees while signing up for a two-year plan comes with a 30% discount.

The fourth subscription plan is entirely customizable and based on your specific needs.

5. Simvoly

This is one feature-packed product right here. As with some of the other Clickfunnels alternatives, Simvoly focuses on building more than just landing pages and sales funnels. Their expansive list of 500 templates contains a generous selection of website options too, while their builder has more than enough UI elements to create a wide variety of online presences.

But we’ll focus on the features that make it a ClickFunnel alternative.

Like I mentioned before, Simvoly has no shortage of landing page, and sales funnel templates, although one does get the sense that they’ve spread themselves equally across these and website options. While I wouldn’t say that this severely damages the quality of Simvoly’s template selection, there is a noticeably smaller number of them than on their competitors’ sites. However, given how editable these templates are, this shouldn’t be too big of a risk.

Simvoly

A Simvoly feature that I found unique is one that allows their customer to white label their page and site builders. While this is quite a niche feature that I don’t think ALL of their customers will find useful, it definitely will appeal to agencies who want to resell the product and empower their clients to get proactive about building sales funnels.

It’s a really innovative contribution to this stable of products and one that I can see being very effective for a particular user – especially those who want their own brand visible on the builder for the sake of continuity.

Simvoly also impresses in the area of template creation. Like I mentioned before, there are more than enough funnel and landing page templates to choose from, but what Simvoly does is give the customer the option to save a particular template they found to be extremely effective. This dovetails nicely with the “agency” target market I referred to above.

Once-click conversions are also something that Simvoly is pretty enthusiastic about. Both their up-and-down selling UI elements, as well as their checkout element, have “one-click” states that make the conversion process that much simpler for the end-user.

All-in-all, I found Simvoly to be one of the most feature-packed ClickFunnels alternatives, and I highly recommend you sign up for their free 14-day trial.

Price Points

Simvoly offers four subscription options. The monthly prices are $12, $24, $79, and $199 when billed annually and $18, $ 32, $ 99, and $249 on a monthly billing schedule.

The tiers are differentiated on a combination of consumption (number of websites, funnels, traffic, and pages) and features. The most affordable option is REALLY affordable and will certainly do nicely for a small startup, but any reasonable growth will need an upgrade pretty soon.

6. GrooveFunnels

The first thing that has to be said for GrooveFunnels is that its basic subscription option is free. It’s a stripped-down version of their paid plans and doesn’t offer the spectrum of features that their competitors’ do, but it’s still highly usable and a great way to get started.

As with all of our ClickFunnels alternatives, GrooveFunnels is, essentially, a landing page and sales funnel builder. However, they also offer a very wide variety of integrated products, all aimed at boosting your conversion rates. Access to these products is dependent on your subscription plan, but we’ll get into more detail on this later.

Aside from the standard page builder, which works beautifully, by the way, you have access to 20 “apps” like:

  • GroovePages – a powerful funnel page builder.
  • GrooveSell – GroovePages’ complete shopping cart and affiliate program.
  • GrooveMail – an email marketing solution with built-in CRM.
  • GrooveQuiz an innovative interactive method of growing your email subscriber list through surveys.

Each of these is highly customizable and cooperate beautifully to create automated processes strongly geared towards what you need most: selling your product. Just be aware that the majority of these aren’t part of the free subscription plan. In fact, it’s only the first two that are.

While I can’t verify this myself, the GrooveFunnels website claims to be the fastest-growing page and funnel building platform on the market today and cite that close to 45k new users have made the “switch” in the last 30 days. I see no reason why they’d damage their reputation by making false claims like this, so I’m going to assume that it’s true. These are highly impressive figures and say a lot about the company and their suite of products.

GrooveFunnels

Sign up for GrooveFunnels’ free plan now or check out our review.

Price Points

I don’t love how GrooveFunnels have laid out their site, to be honest. They make it hard to differentiate between the various pricing tiers and the various aspects that differentiate them. So I’ve had to resort to other online resources who have dug a little deeper than I could.

There are four subscription options. All of them offer increased access to advanced features. There are no consumption costs associated with these tiers.

As mentioned, the free option comes with enough functionality to get a small business up and running without any problems. If you’re just getting started, choosing this option is a no-brainer.

The next three options cost $99, $199, and $299 per month. As of this moment, there doesn’t appear to be an annual payment option.

7. BuilderAll

Once again, we have a product that casts its ambitions a little wider than just landing page and sales funnel builders. BuilderAll, as you can probably tell from its name, allows you to build… well… “All.” Websites, landing pages, sales funnels, the works. It also comes with powerful integrated features that help you market and sell your products online.

BuilderAll prides themselves on the usability of their page builder, and it's easy to see why. Super-fast, super-stable drag and drop functionality makes constructing a landing page a breeze. It’s one of their major selling points – for good reason. Clearly, they built this component of their product with love. You can even build your pages on a mobile device or tablet!

There’s a reason that BuilderAll has opted to name their builder tool “Cheetah.” And, no, it’s not because it survives on animal carcasses and is covered in spots. It’s because the code it compiles renders websites that load at unprecedented speeds, especially on mobile devices, where it matters most. The company is justifiably proud of the Google PageSpeed Insights score their own website (obviously built with their platform) achieved: 99 for the desktop version and 92 for mobile.

BuilderAll

There’s no shortage of additional features to make BuilderAll a terrific investment for anyone looking to build high-converting sales funnels. Cheetah is more than a page builder. It offers an integrated CRM, their email management app called “MailingBoss,” and A/B testing environment, and TAG management system. All of this under one roof.

A quick word on TAG management, for those who are unfamiliar with it. Essentially it’s a highly effective method of managing the lifecycle of all the tracking pixels you use throughout your marketing campaigns. Read more about it on here if you’re interested in seeing how tag management can be used to supercharge your external integrations.

Bringing integrated aspects of funnel and marketing management into a single, unified view is one of Builderall’s biggest successes. The “dashboard” showing the relationship between the various components of your entire marketing ecosystem is wonderfully innovative and a joy to work with.

Other awesome BuilderAll features include (but are definitely not limited to):

  • Super Checkout for affiliates allows you to build your brand’s very own multi-tiered affiliate system.
  • Bump sells allow you to sell related products to a customer who is already in the checkout process.
  • Integrated scarcity timers provide additional incentive for conversion.

Price Points

Builderall has a really interesting price point structure. Essentially there are only two tiers, the Premium Plan, which goes for a reasonable $69 per month, without an annual subscription option, and their Funnel Club, which has a similar monthly payment but includes a one-off payment of $199.

If you opt for the Funnel Club, you are guaranteed that the $69 price will remain “locked forever,” to use their wording. What you get for this additional payment are some very handy features and functionality not available in the Premium plan.

Worth noting is that there is no difference in resource consumption between the two plans. Both allow 15 domains, 10GB of disk space, and unlimited subscribers.

8. InstaBuilder

We’re veering slightly away from our current course with InstaBuilder. While the rest of these ClickFunnels alternatives are all standalone cloud-based products, InstaBuilder is a WordPress plugin.

Just for added clarity, because I can sense that this might cause some confusion, there’s a difference between WordPress plugins and themes. While it makes sense that a theme might be the ideal WordPress mechanism for an online sales funnel, that’s not what InstaBuilder is.

If you already have a WordPress account or website that you want to appropriate for a new sales funnel or landing page, InstaBuilder is the ideal solution for you. Despite being integrated into an existing CMS, the plugin still offers excellent drag and drop page-building functionality enabling you to create great-looking, high-converting landing pages.

InstaBuilder

Instabuilder comes with the standard suite of offerings we’ve come to expect from these ClickFunnels alternatives. Landing pages are fully responsive, there are more than 100 templates at your fingertips, you can implement scarcity elements, and you can conduct robust A/B testing with your various page variants.

Countdown Timer at InstaBuilder

Instabuilder’s 3- and 2-step opt-in technology allows you to take advantage of the most contemporary and effective methods of building subscriber lists. The elements motivating the user and enabling them to sign up are ridiculously easy to implement.

All serious marketers should be obsessed with analytics. Seriously, if you do not measure your campaign performance and plug the leaks, you’re throwing money down a dried-up well. Fortunately, InstaBuilder’s got you covered here. Their analytics component offers a highly granular view of user interaction data, all in a package that makes it easy for a newbie to extract actionable insights.

Another aspect that makes InstaBuilder such a unique product is that it’s another ClickFunnel alternative that will appeal to web-development agencies. It may not enable your clients to build their own funnels, but it has a subscription option that allows you to install it onto their WordPress domains. I love this approach to widening their target audience to show real business development initiative.

Sign up for InstaBuilder by clicking here.

Price Points

Unlike most ClickFunnel Alternatives, InstaBuilder doesn’t use a recurring payment model. At the time of writing this article, they offer three versions of their product, each available for a one-time fee. Differentiation between these three is pretty simple.

  • The 3-Site License ($77) option allows you to install the plugin on three of your WordPress domains.
  • The Unlimited License ($97) option allows you to install the plugin on as many WordPress sites as you want.
  • The Developer License ($197) option allows you the same benefit as the Unlimited option with the added benefit of allowing you to install the plugin on your clients’ WordPress sites.

NOTE: There is absolutely no difference in feature access between these three options. Everything available to everyone, regardless of your subscription option. Awesome!

9. Sendinblue

It has to be said, Sendinblue has the most adorable hero-header animation I’ve ever seen. Sure, this isn’t necessarily going to be the ONLY reason I choose to subscribe to their product, but it sure put me in a great mood and urged me to scroll down further. Any company able to evoke that type of emotional response is a company that’s going to help me sell my products.

Sendinblue’s primary message is customer-centricity. Personalization and efficiency in customer interaction is a priority for them, and they want to enable YOU to do the same. What does this mean from a functionality perspective? Firstly, you’re able to communicate with your customers with great-looking email templates, live chat, and SMSs.

All three of these communication methods span the spectrum of offer urgency. Emails enable a longer nurturing period, live chat is reactive and allows you to convert a query into a conversion, while mobile messaging allows you to promote a personalized special offer and prompt an impulse buy.

On top of these exceptional customer interaction features, Sendinblue offers excellent versions of what you’d expect from a ClickFunnel alternative. There’s a proprietary CRM integrated with every customer-facing element, while intelligent customer segmentation enables you to automate without compromizing personalization.

Sendinblue

Sendinblue also shines a spotlight on their ability to retarget – a powerful, highly customizable marketing mechanism that brings visitors back to your site by showing them personalized adverts while they browse other websites or even FaceBook.

You can opt to simply show any former visitor a broad reminder that your site exists, or you can have Sendinblue remember which pages on your site they visited, draw conclusions about their needs, and show them adverts aligned with these.

As with almost all of these ClickFunnel alternatives, email marketing is a priority for Sendinblue, and they’ve created some innovative functionality to help you get the most out of these campaigns. The most exciting of these being a “click map” that shows you in great detail how recipients engage with your emails. Visualization is a wonderful means of drawing conclusions about campaign effectiveness, and it’s something Sendinblue excels at.

Let me be clear about this. Sendinblue is a great option if you’re leaning more towards email marketing over landing pages and sales funnels. While you can certainly create the latter with a great selection of customizable templates, this is not their primary selling point.

Price Points

Right, in discussing subscription options, it becomes clear that Sendinblue does consider their main objective to enable email marketing campaigns. Of their four subscription options, the first two only enable mail campaigns.

The Free option enables you to send 300 emails per day, but nothing else. It’s essentially a permanent trial version. I highly doubt any serious business will get any value out of this option.

The Lite option costs between $25 and $99 per month, depending on the number of emails you want to send per day. However, it offers some additional basic features like A/B testing and advanced analytics.

The Premium option costs between $65 and $599 per month, again depending on your daily mail-volume needs. However, this option also comes with the features that make it a viable ClickFunnels alternative – the creation of landing pages through customizable templates.

The Enterprise option’s price is dependent on your specific marketing needs. Aside from enabling a larger volume of emails, this plan also offers priority sending, access for 10+ users, access to a customer success manager, and SAML-enabled single sign-on technology.

10. Kartra

Kartra proudly proclaims: “Finally, everything you need, all in one place!” in their website’s hero header. And then they go ahead and deliver one of the best summaries of why this may be true I’ve ever encountered.

Their suite of offerings and how these are positioned is a wonder to behold. I love their website so much, and it’s always a great sign for me when a company that makes site builders builds a great site for themselves.

Their core offerings span as wide a spectrum of inbound and outbound digital marketing as any of the products we’re reviewing here today. Looking at Kartra’s beautifully laid-out grid of features, it’s hard to imagine that there’s anything they’ve missed when it comes to enabling their customers to supercharge their conversion rates.

Kartra

Standout features include Kartra Helpdesks, which is an all-in-one support portal complete with ticketing and live chat support. It also integrates perfectly with Kartra Checkouts to minimize friction when it comes to finalizing a purchase.

Kartra Calendars is a scheduling app that helps you set and manage one-on-one conversations you may want to have with your clients. This is especially helpful when selling products that have a complex and high-touch sales cycle.

Kartra Agency is a feature that’s available on all but one of the subscription plans. This is essentially a dashboard and centralized administrative platform for agency customers with several clients. It’s a terrifically useful feature and a must-have if you run sales funnels for multiple companies.

When it comes to offering as wide a spectrum of apps and features to compete with ClickFunnels, Kartra is an absolute standout alternative. They’ve left no stone unturned and are so confident in their product that they offer a 30-day money-back guarantee.

Where Kartra does fall short (for some potential customers) is their page builder. Their landing pages, emails, and forms are all template-based, so there’s no option for building a presence from scratch. These templates are highly-customizable, however, so please don’t make the mistaken assumption that you’ll be locked into a creative prison.

Click here to check out what Kartra has to offer; for a mere $1, you can sign up for a two-week trial.

Price Points

Kartra offers four price points, each available on monthly or annual subscription payment schedules; the latter will see you enjoy a saving of up to 25%.

With the exception of the Starter plan ($99 pm), which is quite limited in many respects, the only differentiator between the four options is the ceiling placed on the number of leads and custom domains. The Silver ($199 pm), Gold ($299 pm), and Platinum ($499 pm) plans all offer an incrementally higher number of these two resources. As I mentioned earlier, the latter three subscription plans also offer access to the Kartra Agency feature.

11. Landingi

As you can probably tell from the company’s name, Landingi is all about landing pages, which is a nice return to the main point of this article after a brief detour into products that prioritize email marketing and a WordPress plugin.

However, it’s worth mentioning that Landingi can also be deployed onto a WordPress site as a plugin.

300+ customizable templates await you once you’ve signed up for any of their subscription plans. On top of this, I can verify that their drag and drop landing page builder is absolutely top class. Building beautiful, engaging pages that convert is as easy as it gets with Landingi.

Landingi

Integration with over 40 industry-leading software services like Zapier, MailChimp, HubSpot, and SalesForce supercharges what you can achieve with Landingi’s sales funnels and landing pages.

Everything you need to get the most out of a technical collaboration with any of these third-party products is right there at your fingertips.

Campaign and landing page performance optimization is a cinch with Landingi’s “one-click” A/B testing feature. You can opt to use ready-made templates and use dynamic content to gauge responses from your visitors within minutes. Present your target audience with multiple layouts, imagery, and text, and build actionable data on how they respond to these variants in design and messaging.

Ultimately, the purpose of a sales funnel is conversion, and Landingi doesn’t lag behind other Clickfunnel alternatives when it comes to enabling this objective.

The builder allows you to create an impressive variety of forms – the foundation of conversion – with ease. Worth mentioning here is that you have the option of protecting your forms with state-of-the-art anti-spam security features, a terrific little add-on.

Landingi doesn’t come with a built-in CRM. All leads end up in an “inbox” or can be exported to a CSV file. However, this slightly cumbersome approach to lead management can be overcome with the third-party integration I mentioned earlier.

Price Points

Landingi’s pricing page is a little overwhelming, which I can’t imagine is great for their own conversions, especially when compared to the other ClickFunnel alternatives we discussed here. While there are only three basic pricing tiers, customization options abound, and it’s a bit of a hassle to get a simple overview of what the product is going to cost. However, I can see this working for certain customers.

Each of the three options has four billing cycle options: monthly, quarterly, twice a year, and annually. As can be expected, the prices decrease significantly as you choose longer billing cycles, although this only applies to the Business and Agency plans.

I recommend you visit Landingi’s pricing page for more detail here because I’m probably going to have to write the SaaS equivalent of a summary on Middle Eastern conflict if I have to cover the entirety of this topic.

Suffice to say that their most affordable option is $29, and the most expensive is $245 – both billed annually. There’s also a customizable Enterprise option, which starts at $599.

12. Kajabi

Amongst a selection of ClickFunnel alternatives that strive to be “all things to all people,” it’s great to discover a sales funnel and landing page builder that focuses on a specific niche.

Kajabi offers everything you’ll expect from the products I’ve reviewed in this article, but it does so with functions that support the sale of online courses and coaching programs.

As many of you may know, this is a sizable niche in the world of web commerce. People are hungry to learn, and the web offers unprecedented access to expert guidance. There’s no shortage of brilliant, highly-qualified individuals selling their proven methods to achieve a wide variety of goals. And these are the people that Kajabi has in their sights.

I don’t know why I’m going on and on about it when they state their objectives so perfectly on their home page’s hero header:

Kajabi

Right? How perfect is that? Do you run a knowledge business? Kajabi has your back. Let’s take a look at some of its features.

Setting up your knowledge courses, referred to as products by Kajabi, is pretty easy and follows a very logical process. Even though they use the term “product,” you can think of each of these as a discrete landing page.

Using their Product Generator, you create your suite of knowledge offerings, decide on pricing and subscription models, delivery method, how it’s packaged, and then upload it to your Kajabi account. Building the product’s landing pages is pretty easy using their template and customization model.

What I love about Kajabi’s products is that it allows you to plug a community feature into each one of your offerings, making it easy for your customers to interact with you and each other. We all know the power of community when it comes to retaining customers, creating brand advocates, and the opportunity to cross-sell, so this is an incredibly useful feature.

Kajabi is packed with features that enable running the “business side” of things. You have access to detailed analytics, forecasts, and other highly valuable data-driven insights into your company’s performance. Make strategic decisions based on cold, hard facts rather than intuition.

I LOVE Kajabi as a ClickFunnels alternative for knowledge professionals. They offer a ton of value that I haven’t touched on in this review, so I highly recommend you check out their 14-day free trial.

Price Points

The three subscription plans aren’t the cheapest on our list of ClickFunnels alternatives, but you get what you pay for and Kajabi bings the value, make no mistake.

Price differentiation is mostly based on resource consumption, although the two more expensive options do offer advanced features like white-labeling, 24/7 support, and an affiliate program.

The Basic option will set you back $149 per month, the Growth plan goes for $199 per month, while the Pro option costs $399 per month. A generous 20% discount is available if you’re willing to make yearly payments. This is a no-brainer, in my opinion.

The major difference between these three subscription plans is the number of products you can have associated with your account. Current increments are 3, 15, and 100.

As always, we've got a full Kajabi review ready to go for you.

13. ThriveCart

Something I genuinely loved about ThriveCart is its focus on up- and cross-selling during the checkout process. While this feature isn’t unique to them, it’s an area that they’ve clearly poured some energy into. Last-minute add-ons are the online commerce equivalent of the supermarket’s nasty little candy aisle.

The customer’s already committed to spending money on your site, and they’re basically just waiting for the transaction to be finalized. With one click, they can add another product to their cart. It’s easy, hugely tempting, and has a significant impact on your profitability.

ThriveCart

In fact, greasing the wheels of additional sales clearly seems to be one of ThriveCart’s main selling points. Even before the prospective customer gets to the checkout page, there are highly effective, unobtrusive methods to inform them of complementary products that add value to their lives and money to your account.

ThriveCart also allows you to integrate its cart function into any of your other websites. Regardless of whether you build and host your landing pages on their platform, as a subscriber, you’ll be able to insert their core feature into anywhere you have an online presence.

While ThriveCart allows you to create sales funnels and landing pages, it’s not their core focus. Manage your expectations in terms of the creative flexibility you have in this area. This doesn’t mean that their templates and customization offerings are lacking in quality; there’s more than enough functionality here to create more-than-adequate front-ends to enable your sales.

You’re also enabled to integrate your ThriveCart presence with third-party applications like MailChimp, Drip, and HubSpot – further extending what you’re able to accomplish with your account. This kind of automation allows you to focus where you need to, rather than tedious, manual data-migrations.

To finalize my review of ThriveCart, I have to say that there probably isn’t a company that can compete with their cart and conversion functionality. The amount of customization you can do in the checkout space is staggering and definitely worth checking out if you sell a suite of complementary products.

Price Points

Eschewing the SaaS approach, ThriveCart operates on a one-time payment model. Their Standard offering will set you back $495, but, true to their own ethos of upselling during checkout, you can add on their PRO upgrade for an additional $195.

This upgrade allows you access to features like an affiliate program, automatic sales tax calculation, intelligent business projections, and custom domain name functionality.

14. Wishpond

Wishpond does the basics. And they do them exceptionally well. Everything you want from a funnel builder is here. Everything you want from a business management platform is here. Everything you want from an analytics and insights perspective is here.

On top of all of this, you get to integrate your Wishpond presence with over 30 industry-leading apps like Slack, MailChimp, and SalesForce.

Wishpond separates its offering into four integrated marketing tools. Landing pages are where you build what your customers interact with. They offer your standard template selections along with drag and drop design functionality. Pages are responsive and load lightning-fast.

Popups and Forms allow you to convert landing page visitors into leads. A host of options await you here. Exit-intent popups, sidebar forms, and overlays combine to maximize your chances of turning a visitor into a lead.

Contests and Promos is a feature that I hadn’t really come across in my journey through ClickFunnels alternatives. Essentially, this tool allows you to engage with your audience. Run Instagram promotions, sweepstakes, and photo contests to create a sense of interaction and community. This is an excellent way to nurture your leads and will have a very real impact on your conversion rates.

Marketing Automation does exactly what it says on the box. Set up the processes you need to nurture your leads with proven mechanisms like segmented email campaigns. Each mail can be personalized based on what your CRM knows about the lead, greatly increasing the chances of conversion.

Wishpond

Other areas marketing automation can help you maximize your ROI is by identifying a lead that’s primed for a sales-pitch from human contact. Based on the criteria you determine, Wishpond will notify your sales team that a certain lead is ready for a subtle push towards conversion.

There’s a lot to love about Wishpond’s wide spectrum of features. They do the basics right while also offering a terrific array of advanced features at a reasonable price. Click here to check out their 14-day trial period.

Price Points

At only $75 per month ($45 on an annual payment schedule), Wishpond’s Starting Out package is surprisingly affordable. The Everything You Need option goes for $149 per month ($99 for the yearly option). Their Rapid Growth plan starts out at $299 per month and $199 per year.

These are some of the most affordable prices I’ve seen in my research, making Wishpond a very attractive alternative to ClickFunnels.

The main differentiator between these three tiers is the number of leads each one allows you to generate and maintain. The Rapid Growth plan has a ceiling of 10K leads, but you are permitted to customize your needs here, with a slight increase in price as you do so.

There are also some advanced features that only become available with the two more expensive options. For instance, the Starting Out option doesn’t enable A/B testing, while the Everything You Need plan doesn’t have access to priority customer support and implementation coaching.

15. Convertri

While Convertri has a LOT going for it, their primary sales angle is speed. They clearly understand the connection between a fast-loading page and conversion and have built a code-compiler that makes sure you don’t lose a lead because of sluggish performance.

But let me give them the opportunity to clarify why this is such a crucial consideration.

Convertri

Their homepage proudly claims that benchmark tests from Q4 2019 have Convertri comfortably beating other page builders in terms of page-load times. If speed is your top priority, clearly, this funnel builder should be close to the top of your list of options.
Lewis Hamilton aspirations aside, Convertri offers you everything that a top sales funnel and landing page builder does. Their page builder even allows you to create full websites, so it’s more than just competition for ClickFunnels; but it also takes on the likes of Wix and Squarespace.

Page-building functionality has been modeled on Adobe Photoshop’s UI, so if you have any experience working with the industry-leading graphic design tool, using Convertri should be a breeze. This is a builder that takes free-form drag and drop functionality to the next level; I loved working with it. You also have the option of using templates and pre-formatted UI elements should you not be interested in the creative process.

Something that kinda blew my mind as I was scrolling through Convrtri’s feature list was how they positioned dynamic content. Their Dynamic Text Replacement feature inserts custom content into a single template based on the keywords that lead the visitor to your landing page. Man, how awesome is that? Maximum flexibility and lead generation potential with minimal effort.

Wow, does Convertri ever keep things simple here, or what? There’s literally only one subscription plan. Honestly, my eyes filled with tears of happiness when I saw that a company had the courage to make this move. Good on them.

Granted, there are two payment options, monthly ($99) and yearly, which offers a 24% discount. The subscription plan allows you to generate 25 funnels, 250 landing pages, ten custom domains and gives you access to over 400 templates.

Final Thoughts

To wrap up this epic deep-dive into alternatives to ClickFunnels, I’m going to say something super obvious. Please forgive me if this seems condescendingly evident.

The best landing page and sales funnel builder depends on your business needs. I can’t tell you which is the single best product because I have no insight into your products, business model, budget, and the skills you gave access to in your company.

Each of the links we provide to these products contains a boatload of information that I only extracted the most important aspects of. I encourage you to read everything there is about these products when you land on their pages before making a decision.

Make no mistake; if you’re selling anything online, you need a product like this. It’s the present and the future of online selling.

So take the leap and make it happen.
