thanks for including Cool Mojito in your list. You can try our free plan , or if you are an agency you can either transfer the page to your clients or even try our reseller plan that allows you to rebrand the entire app. You can change the platform header, footer, logo, banner, colors, background and even the website url to your own brand let us know if you have any question

  3. brilliant information – really good – but I was looking for a system that asks for the email to connect and not like and then keeps it 🙂 I have seen it done but they are all really expensive…do you or anyone else know of one that works?

    • Priit Kallas says:

Tchnically it shouldn’t be very difficult. Basically you are logging in with your email. However you would need a confirmation email as otherwise people could use the system with any email address.

Nice post. I am always looking for cool apps. The problem is at some point it is just eaiser to do custom tabs if you manage many different pages.

I thought ‘landing’ pages were to become obsolete once the new Timeline kicks in at the end of this month? We can still have tabs for things but not as landing pages.

  6. Ellen says:

I don’t really like welcome pages. I just wanna get to the wall or the company’s info. I kinda thought of them as flash intros to their website. Have you tracked and seen that people actually like them? Or they just have to go through it to get to the page?

    • Priit Kallas says:

Ellen, it depends on what you put on the landing page. If it’s self-serving BS then you are right. However if it explains and gives value then it can boost joining ratest 2, 3 or even more times compared to directing people to the wall.

  7. Emily says:

This is a great article, and a nice list of options. I have used Hy.Ly in the past. They allow you over 5,000 likes and the tools are pretty cool. The degree of use on the CMS is very easy as well. Check them out!

Hi Cindy. With any TabSite paid plan you can remove all footer banners and you can transfer ownership of the Account to a client.

    Hope that helps clarify.

  14. Cindy Cook says:

I like Pagemodo and Tabsite – but I hate the ad they place at the bottom, and you can’t transfer the account to a client after you have customized the pages…. any other recommendations?

  19. I haven’t had a chance to mess around with it yet but http://www.wp4fb.com/ looks promising.
As far as I can gather it’s free, you just need to give them an email for a download link.

  20. Mike says:

Thanks for the TabSite mention! We try to make it easy for agencies to create and manage multiple clients custom page tabs.

In our manager you can simply choose the fan page to manage and the custom tabs for that one are yours to work on. You can also give client access to their tabs if you wish.

  21. Great post. I will definitely try these. Thanks for sharing.

  22. Priit Kallas says:

Sure Christine. We do all our clients pages with custom programming and design. But for many people it’s an easy way to get some life to their one Facebook page.
